i have quite a few other things i need to accomplish but i am supposed to start pole dancing classes in august. so i will pick this goal back up then.

Now is try to getting more comfortable in right leg in front; and try more straight in left leg in front…
Sidesplit is really hard to learn… ^^“
I’m so unflexible these days
To think when i was a baby i could put my foot in my mouth!
its not that hard just try to go down as far as possible WITHOUT FORCING IT and hold for 2 min everyday and you will go down farther everyday.

In Yoga today, the instructor was doing two poses which would then culminate in a split.
I’m so envious of that and I too one day would like to do a split. It just seems so… challenging but I know it’s just a matter of constant stretching of the muscles.
I remember before I wanted so badly to do the touching of the head on the surface floor while sitting on your bum move and couldn’t do it. Years later though with some difficulty, I can proudly do it.
So yes, it’s one of those mundane goals you just want to know to do. I’d love to do a split!

I work out more and I just realised that I’m closer to a split than I’ve been in a long, long time.
A little more to go and I’ll be able to do one.

Incidentally, yoga is making me split in all possible ways :-) I will be able to do a split in a month or two…

time is short and i was too lazy to even start stretching last night. =O( no bueno!!!! I will get my butt motivated this afternoon…for now workie work!!!!
I used to do gymnastics as a child and did splits all the time. Now I can only do splits after I exercise and have limbered up. I just kept sitting in a “split position” after every time I ran. Eventually I got all the way back down to the floor.
