rhodonite becoming a night owl.

picklepumpkin slept well:)
I moved into my ‘new’ bedroom a month ago. It used to be ds2 &3 bedroom, It is decorated in a boys blue plus red scribbles on the wall.
I really want this room plastered and coved. Money is holding me back at the moment.
I’ve made the first step in redoing my bedroom: curtains! They are just simple white sheer cotton curtains and I love them. Just adding curtains has already made a big difference. Next up is painting the walls, I’m going towards a seafoam color.
My friend bought his Nan’s flat and we’re moving in end of September / October time. I’m thinking I’ll do red and white walls, mounted TV, Sofa bed (to save space) and other space saving bits and pieces.
I want to go for a minimalist city style, so lots of space with pictures of New York, London etc or stencils on the wall to go with it. I also want to have pictures of me and my friends on display in a unique way, any ideas?
I’m finally starting to work on this goal.I’m not so much redecorating it as I am cleaning it up.It looks horrible. My plan is to have as few things in here as possible.I love the minimalist look although you can’t tell by the way it look in here.My apartment is sort of small so I don’t have much space.Everthing is just scattered around.I should be finished at some point this week.I just have to pick a few more things off the floor and throw away or give away a coulple of bins that I bought in an effect to make it look neater. They just make me want to buy more stuff to fill it up.And they are not a part of my dream room.
ShootForTheStars is dying of boredom.
I’m trying to make my room more ME-ish. And I’m doing a great job. I love to do crafty stuff, so pretty much all of my room decorations are made by me. It really shows my personality and i’m LOVING it!
My beautiful bed arrived, took back breaking work to assemble-thanks to my dear sweet brothers. This weekend-move unwanted furniture out…repaint and start the fun stuff! Finding nice little knick knacks to go into my new room, and…groan, clear out what isnt needed…..
xosabby7 went swimming!
Everythings finished(: I don’t like it as much as I hoped but I’m glad it’s over and I don’t have to worry about it anymore.
JaszG Top Priority: Making straight A's and getting into UA!
I’ve decided to put my money away to MOVE out.. I was going to wait a while to move out of my grandparents house, but this time next year I will be sitting in an apartment of my OWN. And I will be paying the cost to be the BOSS!! I will still keep this goal though, because my bedroom will be my first focus in my new apartment. After the apartment, I’ll be trying to get a house! lol.

MissLiviDoll asks,
“how do I keep things simple and clean? I like to have things around that make my living space feel like home, but I like to have it all clean and simple as well. What do I do to accomodate both of these interests?”
