paint more often

Pretty straight forward. I do not spend enough time painting. I could easily work at it …. & start making money with it …. but I have not even developed my own style yet. 20 years of painting off & on …. by the time I hit 30 years …. I want to be prolific enough to sell my pieces ata steady rate.

All comes back to discipline.

My Art Room is upside down! I haven’t ever really organized it or out it together since I moved back here almost a year ago! I need cabinets and drawers! Today I will start cleaning it up…bringing in some old cabinets that have just been sitting on the side of the house…fixing them up…and making the place organized, cute, artsy, and inspirational!

on a wedding gift…must be done by Friday. Time crunch can be a great motivator!

Done with my 1st piece after writing this goal! Finally!..and already sold! Now off to work on 9 more commissioned pieces! I’m on a roll! Feels great!

My painting seems to be rather erratic lately, I’d like to be more regluarly creative. :)

Actually started last night after many months of being stagnant. I feel so alive! What an amazing feeling when you long to do something…then you actually do it…and the feeling you have during the process…like you were created to do this…brings me so close to the Creator of the Universes!

Don’t know how much or how many, but I’m ruining blank canvas again. :D

Not only did I finish my stepmother’s watercolor (a week late, but there were uber finals to compete with painting—needless to say, finals won), but I started the acrylic for Jim! I haven’t acryliced in about four years or so. Yay! Let’s see if I can keep this up!

My next door neighbor is like a grandmother to me and since she’s catholic she loves to paint Mary mother of Jesus and she has inspired me to paint.
