It would be so much fun and its always been something i wanted to try.
How to go skiing
How I did it: Went on a ski trip to the Austrian Alps when i was at school!! What an amazing way to spend the new year! It took me a few days to figure it out with the help of an instructor.. but sure by the end of the 5 days i was at least able to get from the top to the bottom of the slopes without falling over!! lol!...
I went skiing again last year while i was in spain, and well after 6 years i still got it!! lol!! it's like riding a bike once you learn you never forget!! Must admit, it did take a 1hr refresher course before i was flying down the slopes again!! lol!

...with my boy. And I’ll pretend to be scared and he’ll hold my hand :)
Most amazing experiance! I love skiing, its just breath taking. If you are thinking of going skiing for the first time, go to Austria. It is the most beautiful country ever. My absolute favourite country in the world!
I’ve been skiing for 10 years now throughout New England, and it is the greatest thing I ever discovered. I plan on going out West for the first time within the next year, which is going to be awesome!
Tip for Starters: If you’re just starting out, take private lessons, not group lessons, because group lessons will never be about what you want to learn. Also, buy a book on skiing to learn some of the technical aspects that private lessons don’t always have time to cover. I suggest The All-Mountain Skier: The Way to Expert Skiing. The book helped me after I stopped taking private lessons due to the cost, but do start with private lessons before exploring on your own.
My little guy turnes four years old this summer, my big guy turns 8 this fall. Next winter I’m hoping to get the three of us on the mountain.
I used to be an expert skier oh so many years ago, when I was much thinner. With any luck I won’t be too horrible. Who knows in time I may even be “good” again.
Every year my uncle goes but my mum never lets me so i’m going to persuade her until i can (:
one of the things I miss most since I left Europe – Victoria here I come! Or NZ, Japan?
I don’t like the cold but I want to learn to go skiing or snow boarding… preferably skiing …!
