Because I just do not know how much time each work takes.
How I did it: I worked really hard to do the things I had been putting off and limit the amount of time I sat on my bum each day! I this time I have managed to increase the amount of time I spend socialising, because I have spent a bit of time each day keeping my house clean and sparkling! I have stopped (okay, pretty much) procrastinating, and that is the key. all the jobs I have been avoiding took next to no time to complete, and our lives are MUCH better for it!!
Lessons & tips: Get up half an hour earlier than you need to and use this time to do household jobs like cleaning and laundry.
Dont procrastinate on any job, the jobs you put off rarely take as much time or effort as you think, and you feel better knowing its done!

I’m always forgetting plans and doing homework at the very last minute. It’s incredibly stressful, but I feel like it’s a pattern I’ve fallen into and just can’t break!
I want to be organised and on top of things. know where im going and on time! i want to be known as a reliable person who always shows up on time to class and meetings friends. I want traffic to easily flow when im behind. I want to complete tasks faster so i can manage my time better. I want to have enough sleep at night so i have the energy to do everything well and quickly.
i want to do everything in life….so high time i got prioritized with my time & managed it better
Kat_132 has had two uni exams so far... one more to go!!
Ideally I would like to manage it so well that I have time for my study, time for myself, time for my boyfriend, time for my family and time for my friends. And to have a fairly equal balance between all of these.

and draw up a schedule for 4 (or 5) classes, one internship, and maybe one more internship on top of that. Add on top of that the time I really need to spend studying and going into campus to work on projects that I can’t do at home. Wow. Daunting!
:) Must stay positive…..
X24 just got seasons 1&2 of The Office! Yay!
In conjunction with not procrastinating and acheiving my other goals, this is a huge one. I have a horrible habit of doing things half way or putting them off till tomorrow (much like the Red Queen in “Through the Looking Glass”). Even if I come up with a reward system it lasts about a day. Perhaps I shoul call this “develop discipline”? After all, I know well enough what to do (my first class for my associate in business was Strategies for Success), it’s simply a matter of cracking down and doing it.
So, step one would be figure out what my goals are (see 43T list).
Step two, create long-term goals for each item, break those down into smaller, short term and immediate goals (ie. for “Anger Management,” call the number I have for the class and set up a meeting).
Step three, determine my free time and do something every day to meet one or more goals. Right, sounds easy enough. Now to work…errrgh.
Well, I’ve been back in school for one week. I have been doing quite well with keeping up with everything (though, yes, I know it’s not a whole lot yet as it’s just the first week) and of course it was achieved with time management. I don’t even have anything to prepare for my classes tomorrow because it’s all done so I’m onto doing stuff for Friday! :)
I bought one of those large laminated calendars to stick on my wall. I wrote on it what needs to be read each week, when assignments are due, when quizzes/tests/midterms/exams are, etc. Each of those are colour-coded. For each day I make a list (usually the night before) of everything I want to do. I make sure I complete everything that needs to be completed for the next day and, time permitting, try to start at least one thing needed for the day after that. This has worked so far, so I hope it works when I really begin to get swamped!
