yep go all the way into the world of fame shit ill set up ur drum set and guitars maybe even sleep with a bandmate or two no just kidding i already have love in my life but ye i wanna get out there go crazy breathe in fame be a roadie

Maybe I should have just changed this to “be a groopie”. That could provide the same benefits and be a bit easier to jump into.

Jackson Browne’s “The Load-Out” just came on. It made me think of how I wanted to be a roadie when I was younger (well, I’d still do it if offered I think). The music, the road, the traveling, the hard work, the parties, the friends and good times. And then that great feeling of coming “home”.

Too bad all the bands I’d liked to have done this with are all too old and just don’t party like they used to!

Even though the guys I work for aren’t huge and popular [ie: celtic/rock renaissance festival band] and we don’t travel alot, it’s still fun. =]
