I’ve tried this before, but it was in one of those places where it’s like 110 degrees—literally. Not good for heart patients.
The squeeze does it weekly while I stay home with the kids.

How I did it: I took some lessons in hatha yoga. Our yogi was really into the pure physics of hatha yoga, so he wasn't talking a lot about the philosophy behind the whole concept. And that's what made it so pure for me. I've been able to find rest inside myself, after only five lessons or so. I definitely want to take more lessons in the future. Of course you can't 'learn yoga' in three months, I think it takes a lifetime. But I finally got to the poin… Read how I did it…

How I did it: My mom used to do it,and always use to keep arguing with e to take it up! so i decided to do it,and it was quite amazing! She had book on yoga poses & i searched on net too!!! Now trying to keep it up!! Read how I did it…
Abby Wolf is working to make $ for my new place!
How I did it: After a long weekend of partying, little sleep and trying a lot of new things..including shooting a gun for the first time, and horse back riding for the first time, i felt yoga would be a perfect way to end this weekend! And it was, i went with a neighbor who had a free pass! The yoga was very peaceful and refreshing and i cant wait to go again! Read how I did it…

There’s a 13 year old who comes to class with her dad. They are always in the back of the room so I can see her when I do my down-facing dog. She moves into her down-facing dog so fluidly. I envy her that youth and flexibility.
I intend to learn all the asanas and atleast know theoretically, the ones I cannot do. And go deep into pranayam.
I made it to my second class, sides still sore and aching from the first. Damn that Warrior pose.
but I think there’ll will always be something to learn.
My posture is Waay (Wayne’s World Waaaay!) better, as is body awareness and breathing.
I’m hooked.
I went to two yoga classes last week and they kicked my butt! I have muscles aching that I didn’t even know I had!
I got a little discouraged because almost all of the other people in the classes seemed more advanced that I was. However I know that it is a slow process to gain flexibility and strength that I’m not used to using. So I’m looking forward to achieving some of the balancing stances and a headstand.
I can’t say that I’ve accomplished this goal yet…but I did begin! I took my first class on Oct 1, 2008. It was amazing. I am hooked!
So my first day I tried to go to a yoga class it had filled before I got there. Guess I have to find time in my schedule to not only go to yoga but show up thirty minutes early! I peeked in on the class and it looks fun. I’m going to try to get up early for Saturday morning yoga and hope it has some openings!
