I’m making a renewed effort to be clear about exactly what I want out of life. It’s falling into 3 areas mostly.
Being clear about where I what I want will help me get there even if it is one step at a time.

A poem about living an extraordinary life:
ITHACA
When you start on your journey to Ithaca,
then pray that the road is long,
full of adventure, full of knowledge.
Do not fear the Lestrygonians
and the Cyclopes and the angry Poseidon.
You will never meet such as these on your path,
if your thoughts remain lofty, if a fine emotion
touches your body and your spirit.
You will never meet the Lestrygonians,
the Cyclopes and the fierce Poseidon,
if you do not carry them within your soul,
if your soul does not raise them up before you.
Then pray that the road is long.
That the summer mornings are many,
that you will enter ports seen for the first time
with such pleasure, with such joy!
Stop at Phoenician markets,
and purchase fine merchandise,
mother-of-pearl and corals, amber and ebony,
and pleasurable perfumes of all kinds,
buy as many pleasurable perfumes as you can;
visit hosts of Egyptian cities,
to learn and learn from those who have knowledge.
Always keep Ithaca fixed in your mind.
to arrive there is your ultimate goal.
But do not hurry the voyage at all.
It is better to let it last for long years;
and even to anchor at the isle when you are old,
rich with all that you have gained on the way,
not expecting that Ithaca will offer you riches.
Ithaca has given you the beautiful voyage.
Without her you would never have taken the road.
But she has nothing more to give you.
And if you find her poor, Ithaca has not defrauded you.
With the great wisdom you have gained, with so much experience,
you must surely have understood by then what Ithaca means.

I am living a extraordinary life God loves me, I have friends who truly love me just for me, a good husband, two wonderful children, a roof over my head, my mom, dad, sisters, brothers and extended family are all healthy and I have a good relationship with them and the last and best of all I KNOW WHO I AM.
I am strong but I’m not afraid to cry, I’m hard worker but I will never find myself loss at working too hard, I’m careless when it comes to the of the world at the same time sensitive to what’s matter and I try to help, I play with my kids like I was eight years old, I’m gratefull, I’m happy, I can feel, and I love…
I am not into just living and just letting my life exist. I like the push…in fact i have been far too complacent these days….I am ready for the next new thing!
I would love to live an extraordinary life :D i would want to go to India palaces, and I would love to see the Ididarod in Alaska . Theres so many things to do ! Life isnt short unless you make it short!
Z is feeling a bit tough.
nothing extraordinary lately because i’ve been stressing, which i’m working on to go away!
need to make something happen…something!
Lynnaii should stop procrastinating
Small things can make a life wonderful. It’s hard to suddenly live an extraordinary LIFE but it can be begun with extraordinary moments. :) Moments both large and small. They still touch the heart in some way.
So that is what I’m going to start looking for – in small steps. I’ve contacted all my friends in the city (or close by) and started planning events that we can look forward to doing. There is a Film Festival going on, a boat parade this weekend, as well as a dance exhibition. I’ve also made plans for dinner with new friends. It’ll be fun for socializing! :)
Maybe within these small, meaningful moments makes the life extraordinary. Who knows?
I sure hope so!

I’m going to keep trying for this but I have many other goals I feel need to take precedence. I think some of my goals on my list need to come first in order that this goal can really begin to be accomplished. So that is what I will do.

right now my life is pretty ordinary. not only ordinary, but boring. i mean i am happy, but i don’t want to grow up to be a housewife living in the suburbs (of course there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, it’s just not for me). i go to school, go to practice, do homework, watch tv, get up the next morning and do it all over again. i need something more. some adventure, to experience different cultures and different people. maybe that’s what everyone says when they’re young, and then end up doing the same boring job for the rest of their lives.
if i want it enough, and i go after it with everything i have, i believe i will succeed eventually.
maybe that’s not even true, but if i don’t believe that, i have nothing.
