- We visited with K & S in their home on Saturday for a “Second Thanksgiving,” where we enjoyed great conversation & conviviality as well as good food. smile
How to keep in touch with friends
It made me

"Friendships will only last so long, but the good ones will stick forever."
How I did it: I started going online and Instant Messaging. With technology today, there are endless ways to keep in touch. I used the Windows Live Messenger IM to talk to friends, and e-mail those who I can't lose as a friend and always have to talk to. Phones are still a common way to stay connected, so make sure to carry one with you.
Lessons & tips:
- Get an E-mail Address and Get your Friends! You can keep in touch with friends, even if they live halfway around the world.
- Get a Webcam, so no memory is missed.
- Ask as many of your friends or people at work/school for their number or e-mail address, so you'll always have someone to talk to.

- We visited with R. in his home for Thanksgiving & enjoyed a terrific feast. M. was there, too, & the four of us had a lovely day, full of conversation, showing travel photographs & telling stories, & sharing memories. smile

Making plans….
- to have lunch with L. before Christmas (on the 2nd or the 9th)
- to attend two different work-related Holiday Gatherings—“Required Fun,” as my friend calls them wry grin (on the 4th & 13th)
- to go to B.C.’s house for her annual “Holiday Birthdays Bash” (on the 6th)
- to get together with the gals from work for a nice meal & some Holiday Cheer some evening (probably on the 11th)
- to go to B.’s house for our annual family-style gifts & celebrations party in December (probably on the 12th)
- to go to brunch with C. & L. to celebrate her birthday (on the 21st)
