I am still adjusting to this new level of debt, but it can really only get better from here.
Some good things:
-I’ve been better about making my lunches
-I’ve promised myself I won’t renew my yoga pass
-I got a free bus pass because I’m in classes
-the collections people lowered my payments today when I told them about rent going up (etc.)
-I’ve been tracking my budget, so at least I can look for bad patterns
It’s only been a few months since I really cracked down, and those months were in summer, so it’s been hard to not go out, and I’ve travelled a bit. This fall will be busy and I think that will help things as well.
So long as I’m consistant, this will probably be the worst time for me in terms of debt. It can only go down from here, however slowly.
jane's brain give me your eyes. I need sunshine.
come hell or high water.
I need to start making some extra money however I can and my freelance work has dwindled to nothing. GAHHH!
Just found out that I qualify for some social security disability backpay. We could be debt free by October, if not September!

towards Matt’s card. He’s got a higher intrest rate than I do so I’m trying to focus more on his. Even though my balance is more than double his I still accumulate less. Pay day is right around the corner and we’ll be knocking out some more. =)

I was debt free for a whole 3 weeks. I had the Ducati paid off one month ago aaaaaand someone decided to run it over while it was parked in a parking lot and total it. SO…
::::deep breath:::
I have to finance about another 5k to cover the difference it is going to take to replace it after the insurance money comes in.
Le suck.
Worse things could have have happened. I’m not going to harp on it here. I’ll just make myself upset again when I’m finally coming to terms with everything. I’m hoping we can blast through this loan quickly. I still have yet to get my car fixed so yeah…
AAAAARRGGGGGGG!!!!!
sugarfig is doing everything she should've done all last month.

I paid and closed my last credit card off today!!! Ahhhhh sweet freedom.
I only have 2 credit cards left to pay off & I think it will be payd off sooner.

There are still some outstanding things that I need to clear up. Originally I wanted to clear all of these things up before I got married. I didn’t do that. Now I’d really like to clear them up because I don’t want to have to explain to my husband why I didn’t. I don’t have a good reason.

It’s all about milestones.
It’ll be great when I’m debt free, but I have to celebrate milestones and I CAN’T WAIT until my housing bill is less than the amount of money I’m wasting every month on interest. When I get there, I will celebrate.
As horrible as the money wasted on interest is each month, it’s about half of what it once was.
This whole process is just so draining.
I can’t fucking wait to be free.
I can’t wait until my credit card debt is down to $20K.
I need to buy a new tire. At least one. It came apart today. I’m lucky the car drove normally. I’m going to buy the cheapest tire I can find.
Debt.Fucking.Sucks.
I am going to celebrate like you wouldn’t believe once I am free of it.
