I’ve finally booked a hairdresser! I’m going to give her pretty much a freedom to do whatever she wants to, so we’ll see what happens!
How to cut my hair really short

How I did it: I have secretly always wanted really short hair, but struggled with the social stigma that i thought i would have placed on me. So, finally one day, i felt very stagnant and unhappy with the way i felt despite some really great changes that had happened. So i called a local hair salon, and in a fate-like fashion that had an opening at that very minute. luckily i only live .25 miles from the salon.
Lessons & tips: Definitly find a stylist who understands your hair type! Ask a salon if they have some one who specialized in thick\curly\thin hair, that way they will know what your hair is capable of doing well. and pay the price; keep it within your budget, but something as drastic as 1.5inches of hair, you need to pay for someone who has had some additional training.

my husband has the digital camera. . so i can’t take a picture. we had a bit of a dilemma with the colic. I think it looks a little funny now, but when it grows out a littele i think it will look GREAT!

I did it! (about a week ago)
Everyone including me thinks it looks great and they’re all telling me how confident I must be to have done it. It gives me an edge and I love being different to everyone else!
If youre planning on doing this, just go for it! It’ll grow back if it looks bad. And also if it looks good…but you can cut it again ;) :P.

i saw a tiny little girl, maybe a bit older than myself at the grocery today with VERY short hair. it was very cute. i need to build up my guts to do this.

Ive been toying with this idea for a while now. I want something really short and edgy that will set me apart from everyone else. I hate how every single girl in my school has long hair. I want to be different and feel unique (well more that I do already…I dont want you thinking I have 0 self confidence!).
But im a bit concerned that it wont be feminine enough. And my style is pretty basic, so with the short hair I might look too masculine.
ARGH nevermind. Im going to go through with this! Afterall…its JUST hair! And it will grow back eventually. Im hoping I can do this sometime this week. Fingers crossed! And I will post a picture.

So i have really curly hair. I dont mean like waivy i mean CURLY but i really wanna cut my hair like rihanna used to have hers. I have an appt. next week so wish me luck!!!
