Lou is in Shanghai (29th November - 22nd December) Brr!
HK is a fantastic little place. during my recent overseas trip we stayed with a host family for four days. i saw Victoria Harbour, Stanley Markets (a bit of a disappointment for me), Disneyland (a pintsized Disneyland) and the Peak (leave a lot of time for this one). if you’re ever there you simply must try sweet soup and broccoli tastes particularly good with a cheese sauce with bits of ham. the museum is excellent and i recommend their gift shop! you’ll love it and totally want to go back.
It was amazing! I absolutely love this city. It was my first and last stop during my trip to China, and I had actually expected to dislike it, but I immediately fell in love with it. It’s so vibrant and alive all the time. It’s big and crowded and crazy, but it’s also got beautiful quiet areas, and everything’s really efficient. The contrasts just make it such an incredibly unique place- I’d recommend everyone visit it at least once. I know I’ll definitely be back there again someday :)
Preferably I want this goal to be part of my China tour. Hong Kong looks kinda not bad!
Brilliant place to visit the outlying islands are really good as is the Big Budda & Victoria Peak.
latenitewanderer is busy with her life list this October---cc bills, diving, Vietnam.
First, get a job. Then, pay off all my credit cards. Then, maybe go see Hongkong with James this year. Pray for the best.
Spending 7 days there hoping to see as much as possible, maybe even go over to Maccau to gamble a bit. Can’t wait!
and when i do i’m going to visit the great wall of china! =D
sounds fun!
xx.
I want to go to Hong Kong for at least a week and see as much as possible. I would like to get a new wardrobe made whilst I’m there
Visited, Visited again, and again, and again, so moved here and now taking the ferry to macao to keep my tourist visa going again, and again, and again
you don’t need a hkid to come live in hk, a passport is as good as a hkid for most businesses :)
No racism either (practically) only money counts in this city, what colour the hand that gives it is totally unimportant…
I can highly recommend it. Best city in the world.
Like someone started played simcity couple of decades ago and found the cheatcode. Lol ask anyone thats been here, best city in the world.
