I want to build a self sufficiency mentoring company, or at least community that brought in the philosophies of freedom.
So you would bring together some people who would make a base of mentors where other could come and learn how to be more self sufficiency in their living.
I can imagine there would be several different branches and levels. Branches would be everything from, gardening, animals, inside the house and my favorite “the dumpster diving crew.” Anyway…
You would have a group that could go to peoples homes and help them become more self sufficient by mentoring them in any area or all the areas they want. You wouldn’t just be building a business. You would be building a community that would be more free as they take control over their everyday lives.

Probably a year ago I started by trying to sell custom computer cases. That didn’t work out. I moved onto making a internet video game. Then I gave up after making it because I realized that the competition was overwhelming and also that I was afraid of the website security aspect of the game. Next I moved onto selling military surplus. This was extremely successful at first but then I realized that it was too much effort for my time. So I stopped. I moved onto trying to sell electronics. This was hugely successful. Over time I refined this to selling XBOX 360s around town and this is a really good business but I know that someday this will just be another fad that died out. I need to find something permanent, so I am keeping my eyes (and mind) open every day. I am certain that if I continue at this rate, someday I will find something that is going to work.

Given the economic conditions am keen to indulge in international trade with sourcing / exporting to developing countries like India. Have the basic skills and the initial funds to get this going. However, would appreciate your input, contacts and products / services. Being a start up, the scale is small, and am investing 25 to 30K in capital

I’d really like to open a concert hall/art gallery/local crafts shop…still have to finish college but I’m thinking about starting it online first..selling local music and crafts.

Working for someone else just does not appeal to me anymore. I have worked for others for over twenty years and I do not get any where. I know that in order to make money I need to have my own business. In this economy you never know when you will not have a job. Business will go out of business and then where would I be. I need to have a backup plan.
