How to find my biological parents

How I did it: well i had been told when i was around 12-13 that the father i grew up knowing was not my biological father, and did not think much of it. all that was told to me was that my bio dad was to young and was not ready for a son and left, this was all very new to me, but i was not one to talk about things much especially to my mother for some reason, maybe i knew somehow all along. the older i got the more it was on my mind, but tried not to dwell on it because i did not know what to think about the whole situation and story. when i met the woman that is now my wife things changed a bit and i started talking more about it and the more i talked the more uncertain i became about who i was and how i fit in my own family. i had felt like a stranger for so long and as it turns out the people i was surrounded by were family by adoption or marriage only my two alf brotrhers were blood relatives, don;t know my mothers side really at all, she doesn't speak to them. now i know they loved me but in some strange way i felt like an outsider at the same time. so the more i talked with my wife and we started talking about having a child i felt very strongly that i needed to find out about my past if i was to have a child. i feel that how could i tell a child of mine about it's past if i don't know about mine. so i asked a few questions of my mother and she gave me a little information, his name, and where she last heard he lived, and that he was a year older. we have tracked down a man that we believe is him, and are trying to get some information. i just want to know about my past so that i can pass it on, i am worried aobut hurtinh my adorpted father's feeling with this, he is what i have known and he is a good man i hope that he can understand. i don't know how things will turn out but i just know that this is something i have to do, that i have felt like only half of a person for so long and maybe this will help me path myself together. |

I was adopted at 9 months in David Panama. I was adopted by U.S. citizens and moved to the U.S. i know my moms name from the birth certificate but not my dads. I was born on Decenber 18 1992.
Like everyone else, there has always been this big question mark about my own heritage. I am now 34 yrs old, born and raised in Singapore.
I’ve always knew my biological mom .. when I was younger, my foster mom would always brought me to her home during the new year celebration but I only knew she’s my biological mother when I chanced upon an adoption letter when I was 12 yrs old. It have since been a life long mission to know who I really am.
I was disappointed that my biological mother seem to be very reluctant to provide me further information other than that his name is Bob who is a Portugese and now lives in Australia.
It just now seems like a mission impossible unless my biological mom would reveals more than what she already had.
