How to kiss the blarney stone

 "It was the weirdest, cheesiest thing ever- you have to wait in line, lie on your back while hanging over the four story drop and kiss this rock in the wall behind you. Despite its weirdness it was kinda awesome to do something so shrouded in myth. "
How I did it: I went on a tour of Great Britian with a school group and it was one of the many stops on the way to Dublin. Since I went through a tour group, admission was included in the package and the bus went straight there. It kinda just fell into my lap, I didn't plan it. Lessons & tips: I would make sure to go in June so that the weather isn't crap and to wear some kind of lip protection- lipgloss, carmex, ect because you don't know who's been kissing it.There is a rumor that the locals pee on the stone, but there is no way they could get up to it so I wouldn't worry about that. Wear shoes with traction, the climb to the top is treturous and smile for the camera when they take your picture! Resources: I went with EF tours, they are a great travel group.
