travel to a new country each year

I’m just decided to go to Barcelona, Spain for NYE..Yipee!!

My list so far:

1. Jamaica
2. London
3. Australia
4. Japan

Visited Brussels and Amsterdam for our 2nd anniversary and it was brilliant! We were typical tourists in Brussels, seeing all the sights and eating local food. Amsterdam was similar but more laidback. Best holiday I’ve had in a long time.

And now we’re off to Hungary for a friend’s wedding – don’t know how much we’ll see of the country though!

So that makes it:
2006: England
2007: Scotland
2008: Belgium, The Netherlands, Hungary

2006 – Japan

2007 – don’t think I made it anywhere new this year.

Dear hubby took me to Edinburgh for our first anniversary. It ws glorious – I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland and it didn’t disappoint. Thought we couldn’t see as much as we would have liked due to the fact that we were there only 2 days, but it was still a loely taster and I hope we will go again someday.

Well, I finally did it. I went to India with a friend for three weeks and traveled over 2000 miles. It was like every vacation together thrown into one. Very grueling and hectic, but a serious breath of fresh air. This is definitely a worthy goal and gives you perspective on life.

Well that’s 2006 taken care of anyway! Have always dreamed of visiting the UK and now it has finally happened. It may also happen that I settle here at least for the next few years and that will give me a jumping off point to see as much of Europe as possible. Am going to enjoy doing this.

It turns out it will just be me and a friend heading to India, but we have our tickets and are leaving November 3rd! I even got my work to give me three weeks off. Nice….

Travelling is so far my life goal..

The trip to India that I’ve been planning is really going to happen! Right now I’m researching how I’m going to get around. I’ve got two friends that have committed they’re coming too… I can’t wait. I’ll post again once I’ve gotten the plane tickets.
