Wow…I’m great at making excuses :S
I.E: The reason why I didn’t do this today, is because dot dot dot
Like asking myself in the morning, laying in bed.
Do I really need to go to school today?
Bed is so warm and cozy.
oh my! it’s sa- noh-wing…really really bad.
Oops…”I can’t go!”
or
I don’t need to do my laundry,
I still have plenty of clothes left. (a mountain of laundry piling up)
or
I’d tell myself, I should make my bed everyday.
Then after I wake up, more important morning rituals get priority.
Leaving no time to do literally a 10second chore.
And my favorite excuse for not doing my bed is,
why do it? I’m gonna sleep in there tonight.
What’s the point of making it all pretty and nice?
Then messing it up when I go back to bed.
At times I would think it was laziness, irresponsibility,
fear of failure or lack of motivation.
Or I’m just great at being a lawyer in my head
making myself believe my excuses.
Most of them are very logical…
But logic can be illogical.

I have many goals. Going in all directions. All over the place. Putting them down and seeing which one I want to accomplish is a different story. Following through with them is like the “never ending story.” Never ending excuses of why I haven’t done what I wanted to do. Maybe I should have put this one under “focus” instead of: set goals.
wellllll….the first goal of mine is…....(drum roll)
.............FOCUS (one down, 42 to go)

Identified a goal. I want to work with my idol. So I gathered together all the nonprofits and other endeavors I know him to be engaged with, checked current job openings – but as this is not an immediate shift I mostly signed up for newsletters and ruled in geographically attractive ones as I contemplate my move back north!

I’m challenged by planning versus projecting – but I think it’s time to open up the door to a little bit of dreaming and let life do little bit of manifesting.
Today is finances. Deadlines for payout and finding new sources for financial independence.

I think it’s difficult to set goals which aren’t too hard to accomplish. I’ve managed to set some goals that are both motivating and realistic. I really feel like I’m getting things done now.

Ok, I’d love to think big and if it wasn’t that I’m wanting to start building foundations I would.
So I’m gonna start with a simple list of 6, covering 6 aspects of life.
A simple list of 6 bite-sized goals to start moving forward.
