I have been taking my flute on business trips – I have worked out of town every week since Sept ‘07. I have been able to practice in the hotel rooms. As long as I don’t play too late, I don’t feel I am bothering people in neighboring rooms. I practice the 3rd octave sparingly.
Happy to report my tone is becoming more consistent.

When seeing a therapist, it’s easier to get better than to stay better. You must have worked very hard to get to the point where your therapist doesn’t feel you need followup.

Dude, that’s like retarded! In the UK not only are all health services free to anyone, we also pay our nurses and doctors to learn and provide interest free loans, grants and bursaries to help them.
Wow. As much as I love America (and NY city), you guys really are getting a raw deal from your health system.
